Bond Precision Grinding Ltd was established by Ron Bond in 1985.
At this time, subcontract centreless grinding was the core business.
The business was heavily involved in the spring industry, supplying sub contract grinding to many of the Sheffield based spring manufacturers.
Ron was joined in 1986 by his son Steven. In the late 1980’s and with Steven Bond now at the helm following his father Ron’s retirement, Bond Precision embarked on a plan to stock and supply steel to its growing portfolio of customers. Bond Precision Grinding Ltd is now recognised as the leading supplier of material to the majority of coil spring manufacturers in the UK with approximately 1000 tonne of material in stock at any given time.
